My First Haiku Poem

 WALT: Write a Haiku poem. It is a poem based on syllables and follows a pattern of 5-7-5.

            I like lollipops

  They make me feel tinkley 

                             Lollipops are great!

 

My Hybrid Animal

WALT: write an accurate description of two animals merged into one.

 It has a scaly but slimy tail and it lives in the ocean kingdom. 

It does not have back 

legs.

Instead of back legs it has a tail with tiny 

scales.

It has big cute eyes with a sparkle 

Inside.

It has very small paws and sharp 

claws.

It has a very tiny nose and it comes with

whiskers. 

Can you guess my hybrid animal?

My Report Writing on Squirrels

Squirrels are mostly found in Europe where it is hot in the summer and snowy and cold in the winter. Squirrels are really sensitive and get angry easily so they could drop an acorn or two on your head if you annoyed them. 

Squirrels mostly eat acorns and live in trees. They collect nuts and acorns in the summer and put it in their home. Once they start to hibernate they get hungry so they eat the food they stored. Their coat camouflages them in the tree trunk Amazing right? Squirrels have a really fluffy tail and they can hear really well.

Squirrels have the ability to climb up trees without falling down.  

When they are scared they start to run really fast and yes they can go faster than the fastest man alive.

Did you know that a Squirrels teeth never stop growing? 

Squirrels zig zag to escape predators.

Squirrels are really fluffy crecores and they have a very cute teeth. 

 

My Story of Santa's Kiwi Holiday

We are learning to Screencastify a video of us reading a book.

I chose this book because it is really close to Christmas.

The filed trip

 On the 6th of November we got on the bus at 9 o’clock to go to Margaret Mahy playground. It was a very sunny day on Friday and a very weird one indeed because first it was cloudy then sunny then cloudy then sunny. At Margaret Mahy I was climbing up the big twisty slide then I looked and then I started to get nervous…. I went down and then I went back up then I did it again and again 3 times. I went up and down and then I got bored so I went to play with Indi,London and Lily. We were playing Num Nums, but then we had to have our morning tea and after that we started to walk to the library. Once we got there we had to make a native bird out of Lego in 7 minutes, it was hard to make a native bird out of Lego in 7 minutes. We then got to play on the playground, with the Lego, dress ups, read a book and go in the treehouse that had an entrance to go in. After half an hour we had to walk to the museum. Once we got to the museum we had our lunch and then once we ate our lunch we played in the trees until we were called by our teacher. Then we had to go into the museum. We played some olden day games then we went home in a bus.
